Red Gorilla® is proud to announce that Equine Sales Manager, Katherine Tuckley, successfully completed the London Marathon 2026, raising an impressive £5,655 for Riding for the Disabled Association (RDA).
Katherine completed the marathon in just under five hours, following months of dedicated training and preparation. Her achievement reflects both her commitment and passion for supporting a charity that makes a meaningful difference to disabled children and adults across the UK.
Katherine’s passion for the equestrian world runs deep. With over 15 years of experience in the equine industry both in the UK and overseas. For the past 10 years, Katherine has been an integral part of the Red Gorilla® team, supporting equestrian retailers, customers, and partners across the industry.
The RDA are dedicated to giving disabled children and adults support through activities with horses such as riding, carriage driving and equine assisted programs. Their programmes improve mobility, boost physical health and mental wellbeing and teach new skills. Supported by thousands of volunteers, the charity plays a vital role in making equestrian activities more accessible across the UK.
Her marathon journey combined her love of the equestrian world with a personal mission to give back. The RDA makes a life-changing difference to thousands of disabled children and adults, using horses and ponies to deliver therapy, achievement, and fun.
Speaking about the marathon, Katherine said:
“Training for and completing the London Marathon was an amazing and, at times, challenging experience. The generosity of all my sponsors, and the incredible work that the RDA does, kept me running during the moments when I felt like slowing down. I would like to thank everyone who supported me throughout the journey. I now look forward to hanging up my running trainers for a little while.”
